One of the exciting parts of the additive manufacturing movement is that much of it has been driven by people who build things publicly. Many of the most popular printers have designs made for building it your self. In this weekend course, you will build your own. We provide the parts and guidance as we build them together on Saturday. Sunday, we will all work to align and tune the printers, and then have a quick intro into its use by afternoon. You will leave with your own printer and know how to use it. We anticipate a cost of ~$400 for the printer parts and $200 for the class. If you want to work in a group on a printer, each extra person will be half price. This is a great parent child project! Only very basic building skills are needed. If you can use a screwdriver and pliers, you can build your own printer!
